About the Journal

The Journal of Automation and Control Problems (ACP) is an open access journal published three times a year by the Institute of Machinery researching and Automatics Institute of Kyrgyz Republic National Academy of Sciences. It aims to publish high-quality peer-reviewed articles based on original theoretical research, thorough literature review, case studies and practical developments.

Scope and focus 

The main goal of the Journal is to popularize scientific and technological achievements with a view to their subsequent implementation in various production areas, thereby providing the necessary economic potential in the face of fierce market competition. Maintaining the required level of efficiency of intellectual interaction within the scientific community to ensure the qualitative growth of fundamental and applied research in the world, as well as the appropriate coordination and interaction of scientific and government structures in the process of achieving sustainable economic development in the world. Informing the scientific and technical community about fundamental and applied research in the following areas:

  • information technology and information processing;
  • mathematical and computer modeling of dynamic systems and processes;
  • automatic control of dynamic systems and processes;
  • creation and research of information-measuring systems and complexes;
  • discussion questions on related branches of production and science, which are connected with the listed fields of knowledge.

The main objectives of the Journal, aimed at achieving the above goals:

  • publication of the results of research, experimental and practical, experimental design and innovation activities of domestic and foreign scientists and developers;
  • coverage of experience in the practical implementation of scientific achievements and advanced technologies;
  • approbation of scientific and practical research of researchers and graduate students and ensuring an increase in the efficiency of their research activities;
  • publication of materials of scientific seminars, conferences and symposiums held at the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The main advantages of the journal are the following features:

  • multilingualism - articles are accepted in Kyrgyz, Russian and English, which greatly simplifies the exchange of information;
  • a wide range of problems covered by the Journal - from information technology to electrical engineering, including issues of mathematical modeling and automatic control, is a great advantage for authors.
  • indexing and archiving of articles in the scientific electronic library eLIBRARY.RU greatly simplifies the search for the necessary information for readers.

Open access policy

This open access journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that free access to research to the public promotes greater global knowledge sharing. The authors retain copyright and works published in this journal are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) license. The CC BY license allows anyone to compile, adapt and use their work, even for commercial purposes, as long as the author of the original work is credited. Since 2020, the ACP has been using the CC BY 4.0 license to allow further sharing and use of knowledge without restrictions.

Copyright

The ACP is an open access journal, and the authors retain copyright.  Authors should be appropriately acknowledged when works are cited. Authors retain re-use, sharing and redistribution rights without any restrictions or need to seek permission from the journal or the publisher.

Peer-review policy

All scientific papers submitted to ACP are carefully and blindly peer-reviewed by experts in the relevant field to improve the quality of the research. The average amount of time between submission of an article and publication is about 14 weeks.

All manuscripts submitted to ACP are first checked for originality and inappropriate copying by the reputable plagiarism checker - Antiplagiarism.

Publication fees

The journal does not charge Article Processing Charges.

Repository policy

Authors are allowed to self-archive the final published PDF, submitted or accepted version on institutional repositories, personal websites or academic, social media platforms, according to the Diadorim and Sherpa Romeo registration.
