Abstract

The hydraulic drive is widely used in mechanical engineering as an effective means of automation. In machine tool building, hydraulic systems are successfully used in automated systems to perform precise operations in modular machines and automatic lines, while forming the basis of most numerical control equipment. The hydraulic follower drive is increasingly used for the automation of blank-stamping and forging-press equipment, in specialized test benches and in many other machines and equipment.
