Abstract

Automated control systems for the drilling process are able to select and maintain optimal drilling modes in accordance with the specified criteria of optimality and within the established limits. With the help of automated control systems, it is possible to more strictly normalize the drilling process and widely introduce advanced drilling technologies. Existing systems for automated control of the process of drilling wells for minerals make it possible to collect, accumulate and process information about the drilling process, control the drilling process in real time, and diagnose the operability of individual units and mechanisms.
