Currently, various electromagnetic mechanisms (EMM) with an electromagnetic drive are widely used in automated and mechatronic systems. The most widespread are EMMs in the form of frictional electromagnetic clutches and brakes [1,2], which consist of three main parts - a friction unit, a control electromagnet (UE) and its control circuit (SU). The friction unit, which is usually made normally closed, serves to create a frictional moment and transfer it to the drive shaft. The control electromagnet is designed to open this braking unit and keep it open. The control circuit is used to connect the control electromagnet winding to the power source and provides the specified parameters of the clutch or brake speed when they are closed and opened by forming the optimal law of changing the supply voltage. The structure of the CS is determined by a set of technical and economic requirements for EMM, taking into account the operational characteristics of the mechanism controlled by the EMM.
