Abstract

consideration of scientific and practical aspects of creating e-learning courses using free and open source software (FOSS). Research is carried out at the intersection of areas: knowledge management, information systems and "e-education". The methodology for creating e-learning courses for the e-education system should include the main stages and tools for developing educational materials; phases of development of e-courses; main functions of content management systems and learning process (LMS and LCMS).
