LIFE CYCLE STANDARDS OVERVIEW SOFTWARE AND SYSTEMS

Abstract

The educational standard of the direction "Information Technology (IT)" includes a new discipline "System of IT Standards". One of the main content parts of this discipline contains topics for the study of life cycle standards (LC) of software tools (PS) and systems. PCs are an integral part of IT and traditional systems such as transportation, military, healthcare and finance. There is a trend towards an increase in the number of standards, procedures, methods, tools and environments associated with software development and software project management (PP). This trend causes difficulties in the study, management of PCs and the implementation of related technologies, especially when integrating products and services. A certain order is required in the transition from this diversity to a general structure that is convenient for professionals, providing mutual understanding in the creation and management of PS. This general structure is established in the life cycle (LC) standards of the PS. The most general and widely used standards that regulate the life cycle processes of large high-quality PS are ISO 12207, ISO 15288 and a whole series of standards that detail and concretize the basic processes of these standards.
