Abstract

The problem of two-phase flow of a mixture of gas and solid particles under pressure in a nozzle attachment is considered in order to determine the physical laws of the flow process and the effect on the wear of the nozzle of the input pressure and the volumetric content of the solid phase in the mixture. Computer simulation of the two-phase flow of a mixture of gas and solid particles in a channel of variable cross-section is carried out in the Ansys Fluent 15.0 engineering calculation system.
