Abstract

Evaluating the performance of applications and cloud services is extremely important both during the design of an application or service - for the developer, and during operation - for the provider and client. The article discusses an approach to assessing the performance of a three-tier web application using analytical modeling based on Real-Time Calculus. An example of constructing an RTC model is given, the total delay on all components and the delay obtained using the convolution of min-plus algebra are calculated.
