ASSESSMENT OF THE IMPACT OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IMPLEMENTATION IN THE SDLC SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT PROCESS ON PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Keywords:
generative artificial intelligence, analysis, metrics, unification, methodology, software development life cycle, team experience, project managementAbstract
The purpose of the study is to identify methods for assessing the impact of artificial intelligence on the traditional software development process using the SDLC methodology. The study focuses on evaluating qualitative and quantitative indicators using one individual development team as an example.
This article examines the nine-month experience of the Kitfox team, which worked on the FOLIO project from July 2025 through March 2026. During this period, the team completed 18 sprints and actively introduced AI agents and DevOps automation. Data from these sprints formed the basis for analyzing the impact of artificial-intelligence tools on the development life cycle.
