Abstract

Lighting equipment of joint-use airfields for state and civil aviation is a key element of flight support infrastructure ensuring safety and efficiency of takeoff and landing operations. The article examines the current state, structure and development prospects of airfield lighting systems, focusing on LED and laser diode technologies as well as digital control solutions. Operational requirements in military conditions such as mobility, resilience and camouflage are analyzed. Trends of digitalization and integration with automated systems are highlighted.
