Abstract

The article considers the design of a micro power station (MPS), which allows a small hydro-electric station to generate electricity under the influence of wind flow of air. The air enters the drive unit through a pressure line from a diffuser with straight, tapered channels. To smooth out pressure drops in the unit caused by gusts of wind flow, the MPS damper stabilizing mode of operation is used. A new design of a hydroelectric unit of higher power with a centrifugal regulator of the MPS shaft speed was proposed, as well as a variant of MPS operation in combination with a wind microelectric power station, operating also from the ascending flow of hot air through the pipeline. The MPS functionality is confirmed by the results of computer modeling.
