Abstract

The issues of approximation of the characteristics "pressure - flow" and "efficiency - flow-rate" for mechanisms of centrifugal action using their passport data are considered. It is shown that the analytical dependencies obtained by approximating the indicated characteristics by polynomials of the third degree give the most accurate results. The obtained and known formulas are compared and their accuracy is estimated using correlation coefficients.
