Guidelines for Formatting Publications in the Scientific and Technical Journal
“PROBLEMS OF AUTOMATION AND CONTROL”
The article title, authors’ names, abstract, and KEYWORDS must be provided by the author in Russian (at the beginning of the article) and in English (as a separate file), in electronic form and as a printed copy.
The text of the article must be printed on one side of a white A4 sheet (210 × 297 mm) using an inkjet or laser printer, with single line spacing and automatic hyphenation enabled.
Margins: top and bottom – 25 mm; left and right – 25 mm (printable area 160 × 247 mm). Paragraph indentation – 10 mm.
Authors’ names, the TITLE, abstract, and KEYWORDS are printed with a 20 mm indent. The spacing between these elements is one additional line.
Text must be prepared using the Microsoft Word word processor. Fonts: Times Roman Cyr, Symbol, and special mathematical symbols. Font sizes:

the TITLE is printed in uppercase letters, bold, 14 pt, without hyphenation;

the main text and KEYWORDS – 12 pt;
-
the abstract – 10 pt;
-
formulas – 12 pt.
Formulas are centered in the text; formula numbers must be aligned with the right margin.
Tables and figures must be embedded in the text of the article; the use of photocopies is not permitted. Tables and figures must have a title and a number. Table captions are printed above the table, while figure captions are printed below the figure.
References are numbered sequentially in the order of citation and enclosed in square brackets.
Authors’ names, academic degree, place of work of the authors, and the References section are printed in italics, font size 12 pt.
The last page of the article must be filled with text by at least 75%.
The length of the article must be not less than 5 pages.
Structural elements of the article:

the proposed solution and its theoretical justification,

Mandatory structural elements are highlighted in bold. Other structural elements may be included at the author’s discretion.
An Expert Examination Report and a review (for authors who are not employees of IMAG) from a specialist with an academic degree working in the relevant field of science must be attached to the submitted materials.
Articles formatted with deviations from these requirements will not be accepted.
